Itinerary:6-Day Morocco Tour from Tangier

DAY 01: TANGER – TETOUAN – CHECHAUEN

We will pick you up in the morning at the port (ferry) or at the airport and take you to Chefchaouen. Our first stop will be in Tetuan, a Spanish town, on arrival in Chefchaouen we will leave your luggage at the hotel and drive to the town of Chauen. Stroll through the streets and between the old blue and white houses, enjoy the panoramic views and stay overnight in a riad hotel with breakfast.

DAY 02: CHECHAOUEN – FEZ

Breakfast in riad and continue to Fez, the first of the royal cities whose origins go back to the 8th century. It is also one of the first sacred cities of Muslim worship in Morocco and is also proud to be home to one of the oldest universities in the world. We arrive in Fez, drop off our luggage at the hotel and leave in the afternoon to explore Fez with our local guide and spend the night in Riad. with breakfast.

DAY 03: FEZ – IFRAN – AZROU – ERRACHIDIA – MERZOUGA

After breakfast we leave Fez and head towards the Middle Atlas to visit Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Africa. The next village is Azrou “the rock”, a Berber village known for its crafts, carpets and woodcarvings, before we arrive in Midelt.

We follow the road through Tizi Talgemt or Camel Pass at an altitude of 1,907 metres. The terrain is spectacular, the mountains are completely bare and covered in a purple mantle. Arrival in Errachidia and start crossing the Tafilalet massif to the palm grove of Erfoud.

Towards the desert of Merzouga We arrive in the desert to begin an incredible adventure. We start with an hour-long camel caravan that will take us to the bivouac. We’ll stop in the middle of the road to admire the sunset over the dunes and stretch our legs a bit before continuing on to the bivouac, where we’ll have another welcome tea before dinner and the chance to climb the big dune or smaller dunes next to the bivouac to see the shooting stars and make wishes.

Overnight in Haimas in the heart of the desert (camp) with dinner and a typical Berber breakfast.

Day 04: MERZOUGA – RISSANI – TODRA VALLEY – DADES VALLEY

We wake up before sunrise to see the sunrise. We return by camel or 4×4 to the meeting point with our minibus to continue our journey to Rissani, visit the market, which is the most important market in the south, where all desert nomads shop, and then drive to Erfoud, where we visit a fossil marble factory and continue to the palm groves of Tourug and Tindad.

We arrive at one of the sights of the south: the Todra Gorge. The Todra River has formed a gorge with vertical walls of enormous size and great beauty, a paradise for climbers and a unique place. Lunch on site and a half hour walk to admire the gorge at leisure. In the afternoon transfer to Dades valley via Bumalen Dades and arrival in Dades valley, overnight stay in hotel with dinner and breakfast.

Day 05: Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Hadou – High Atlas – Marrakech

After breakfast at the hotel, start the drive to Ouarzazate via Boumaln de Dades, Valley of the Roses and Skoura. Along the way, enjoy views of the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, the Valley of the Roses and the Skoura Oasis. From here we drive to the village of Ait Ben Haddou where we have lunch and then visit the exotic Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou.

Later, drive over the Tizi N’Tichka Pass (2260m) where you will have the opportunity to take photographs and enjoy the scenery of the High Atlas. Visit the ARGAN oil cooperative where we will learn about the production process and the many benefits of oil for the human body. Arrival in Marrakech in the afternoon, transfer to the riad and overnight stay in the riad with breakfast.

Day 06: Visit Marrakech and transfer to the airport

After breakfast, you will visit Marrakech. In the morning, visit the Koutoubia and the Bahia Palace. Visit the souks, the medina and the Jemaa el-Fna Square. Enjoy a drive and stroll through the streets of the medina and souks, join a guided tour with a local guide. and depending on your flight schedule, transfer to the airport or hotel and end our services.
